Dans notre inénarrable Conca d’Oru il avait, certes, fait croître l’arbre à huile qui enlaçait de ses bras olivâtres les premiers contreforts du Nebbiu.Il avait ,de même ,semé et mûri les blondes moissons qui ondoyaient jusqu’à déborder les hautes collines ,pendant que la vigne regorgeait de joyaux couleur d’or et vermeil.
Cependant, cette manne ne traduisait qu’imparfaitement les désirs de l’être suprême.
Alors ,au crépuscule du septième jour ,Dieu créa la voix et demanda à un ange de la diffuser au-delà des confins de la Conca d’Oru . Immense fut notre joie car, pour la première fois, Dieu nous envoya une Anghjula.

Et depuis cette voix sème, à tous les vents insulaires, le goût fruité Du muscat de Patrimoniu, l’arôme de l’huile de Tenda, la caresse saumâtre de la marée de Saleccia et la limpidité du ciel méditerranéen.

In the twilight of the seventh day and first day of rest, God had feeling of an unfinished work.
In our i Conca d' Oru he had created and made grow the olive tree which would give oil and intertwined its arms around the first buttresses of Nebbiu.
He had also sown and matured
blondes harvests overflowing the high hills, while the vine abounded in jewels color in gold and vermeil.
However, that all only partially represented God’s desires.
Then, when the twilight of the seventh day arose, God created the voice and requidred an angel to diffuse it beyond the borders of Conca d’oru. Immense was our joy because God sent us Anghjula. And since that moment, her voice sows, with all the insular winds, the fruity taste of the Muscat wine of Patrimoniu, the flavour of the oil of Tenda, the brackish caress of the tide of Saleccia and the limpidity of the Mediterranean sky.

L’amour de posséder de beaux textes et la volonté de ne pas céder à la facilité,
Anghjula Potentini donne de l’importance à la poésie et respecte la place qu’elle occupe naturellement, dans la culture orale du monde rural corse.
Anghjula sait que, dans l’apprentissage oral, les mots, ne peuvent être bien chantés que s’ils sont ressentis. Et alors seulement ils pourront épouser la mélodie qui les porte, les deux devenant inséparables, liés par la voix qui les met en valeur.
Pour cela elle fait appel à un compositeur, son mot à lui etant la note,proche du monde de l’écriture Il se joue des mélodies et des harmonies, et respecte la note comme un poete respecte le mot,
il la crée, et la place, là ou il sait qu’elle illustrera au mieux la syllabe qu’elle doit porter.
Chant traditionnel Corse, ou bien musique du monde, des créations, illustrés, enrichis par une sobriété osée, ou bien par une phrase plus jazzy, l’esthétique qui en ressort ne souffre d’aucun cliché emprunté ici ou là. Toujours méditerranéenne mais tout aussi ouverte sur le monde, Anghjula Potentini chante sa vie tout simplement, son but étant de toucher l’universel, en exprimant ses émotions.

Anghjula Potentini loves to own beautiful texts and she is determinated not
